Research Summary
Firms don't act on averages — they act on differences: which customer responds, which creator delivers, what price works for whom. My research builds the econometrics of those differences — deep-learning methods that estimate heterogeneous causal effects at platform scale, and, as AI increasingly generates the data itself, methods that keep those estimates valid when machines do the measuring.
I also teach a practitioner's course on Machine Learning and AI in Marketing — how LLMs actually work, and how to build with them: copilots, agents, and multi-agent systems. Students ship real applications.
